Class details

This class is beginner friendly, but some table saw experience or the Shop Orientation class is strongly recommended first.


Join us to learn how to build your own picture frames with mitered corners, which are joined at 45-degree angles. In this class, we will teach you how to measure your frame to fit your artwork and select materials and dimensions that enhance its appearance. Additionally, we will provide guidance on the basic operation of both the miter saw and table saw. We will also demonstrate more advanced styles and techniques for creating beautiful custom frames.

Please note that all participants will work on the same size frame, typically either 5x7 or 8x10 inches. Custom dimensions are not available for this class.


Also, be aware that this class does not cover how to mat a print.
