PREREQUISITE: Intro to Woodturning class or recent basic experience with the lathe.
THIS IS A TWO-PART CLASS, meeting both May 13 and 14.
Did you know you can make a box on the lathe? In this class, you'll turn a single hardwood blank into an eye-catching box with a fitted lid. This is a great intermediate project for those ready to advance their woodturning skills.
Face shields are provided in class; dust masks are recommended (not provided). Wear a high-necked shirt or smock to keep shavings out. You must be able to stand for most of the class time.
